Part of my transformation is diet. I need to watch what I eat and how. So from time to time, when I come up with something that’s not too bad tasting and rather healthy, I’ll share the recipe!
On today’s episode of Oishi! is Extreme Overnight Oatmeal.
Whatcha gon’ need
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1/3 cup granola mix
- 1 table spoon cinnamon
- 1 large handful of fresh blueberries
- 1 scoop VegeGreens multivitamin
- Milk (I use 2% but you can use 1%, homo milk, almond milk, whatever)
Mix all of the ingredients in a mason jar or similar sealable container. Shake well. Real well.
Then, throw it in the fridge overnight. The oatmeal and granola soaks up the milk and doesn’t exactly cook it? But does the same kinda thing.
After a few hours, it turns into something surprisingly delicious and ridiculously healthy. You’re looking at around 20g protein, very little sugar, I don’t have the calorie count and tons and tons of vitamins, minerals and nutrients!
Yes it looks like crap. Yes it sounds kinda weird with vegetable supplements in it. It’s pretty damn good though, and is super healthy. I feel great!
